Beautiful room, great service and delicious food. I had the Salmon Tar Tar as an appetizer and it was divine. Presentation of my lemon & shrimp pasta was gorgeous. It was actually served inside of lemon halves! Pricing is not for the faint of heart but it was well worth it. I'd say most hovered around the $40 range but there was everything from $24 pastas to $80 steaks.
11 of us to dinner for my parents' 50th Anniversary and the fine people at Avenue made the evening a night to remember. The food, service, and ambiance, a perfect trifecta--rare these days. Exceptional wine list, food uncomplicated and cooked to perfection, and fares reasonably priced compared to their contemporaries. Valet parking and the scenery of Kleinburg makes it a no-brainer for out-of-towners. Only caveat, they don't mince words--in hind sight very refreshing. Thank you Sam and Andrea, you hit it out of the ballpark!
The Most wonderful experience from the get go, complimentary Valet, as soon as we walked in the interior is welcoming, the kitchen is bustling, people are talking while eating and sipping wine - i loveeee it!.
The food was soooooo goooooood.... The calamari, the Mozzo Mozzo - My Chianti was paired so well. Gnocchi bolognese was -ah-mazing! My husband has a tune spaghetti dish with cherry tomatoes and black olives, he said he can't believe how tasty it was, he was so full too, (it takes a lot to feed him lol ) My espresso was amazing, our waiter was crazy awesome ( a veteran of 35 years in the business) lets say he knew what he was doing, and suggesting - totally appreciated.
I can't wait to go there again, thinking of making it a monthly outing, thank you for your hospitality, Margarita & Roumen
